Taylor being a "stinker"

I wanted to write the things down that Taylor does that are funny. She once took out the bathtub soap in a bottle and poured over half of it on the carpet at the top of the stairs. It took me at least and hour to clean it up and I used at least five towels to do so. She will climb out of her port a crib as well as getting out of her big girl bed in the middle of the night and come into our room. Her dad because he is such a softy will get into bed with her and fall asleep with her in there. Hopefully this does not become a trend for her. She will stuff sticky notes in the crack between the door and the wall so when Chris opened up the door all the sticky notes fell down. Lately when we ask her to get into her high chair to get something to eat she will complain or get upset. Sometimes we have to coax her to get into it by giving her a nilla wafer. Other times I have to use time out with her and this calms her down and she gets back into her chair. Taylor will also throw food on the floor that she does not like or gets mad when mommy can't carry her from place to place. I would normally be able to do that but being pregnant and so close to the due date makes it too hard. Chris walked into her room first thing in the morning to check on her and he said that she had taken all her clothes off and was naked. Apparently I was working and missed the whole thing. She also likes to take the DVD's out of the cases and transfer one DVD to other empty cases. She has scratched her Baby Einstein DVD by doing this but surprising has not ruined any other DVD's. She sometimes will let her Dad brush her teeth and other times she cries and tries to get away from it.

Hurricane( Family Reunion) and Birthday

Taylor, Chris and I drove down to hurricane for Chris's mom side of the family for a fun weekend. Taylor did really well on the ride there and only got ansy to get out 30 minutes before we got there. She was a little bit clingy to me while we were gone but she usually warmed up to the kids/cousins that were there the longer we were there. She got to see a lake, play in the water, stay in a condo, see her grandparents, aunts and uncles and a bunch of cousins too. She slept in the walk in closet and did not enjoy that and would wake up crying at 3 in the morning so she would come in the bed with us and roll around until we wanted to get out of bed. She was so exhausted on the way home from hurricane that she slept almost the entire way back. It is a 3 1/2 hour drive and she slept 3 hours. Actually we all would have slept that long if we weren't the ones driving. She has been growing and developing so much. She says a lot more words and is more independent. She can get into her high chair and her car seat on her own. She can go up and down the stairs usually without help and I got a stool for her to stand on so that she can brush her teeth. She still loves taking baths and snuggling with us when watching one of her shows. She likes to watch videos of herself on her dad's phone too. I have been taking her to the pool and seven peaks which she enjoys. She likes the wave pool but she likes to stay in the more shallow portion and she likes to go into the little kid pool. When I take her to my pool she likes to stand on the first step and throw toys into the pool. For her birthday we had a bunch of her cousins and aunts and uncles come, her grandparents, and even great grandparents there. We held it at the townhouse clubhouse so that we had room for everyone. We had everyone swim for an hour and then they all came in and had hot dogs with avocado, tomatoes, cheese, and condiments. We also had a fruit salad, meatballs, broccoli salad, and this good punch that I had gotten the recipe from my aunt. We then sang happy birthday to Taylor with a watermelon decorated birthday cake and the other kids were able to have homemade cupcakes that I had made as well as the cake, and drumsticks. Taylor then opened up her presents which were books, a dress, puzzle, two stuffed animals, and twenty dollars. The next day was Taylor's official birthday which was on a sunday and we gave her the play kitchen which she played with the entire day. The next day which was monday she didn't even want to watch her strawberry shortcake show and just wanted to play with her new kitchen. Some things that Taylor says now are truck, boat, "quack" for duck, all done, dirty, hot, car, book, poo poo, door, mamma, dada, papa, wow, hi, bye, etc. She still likes to point at things to change the subject and she also likes to run when she has the room to do so.
