I have always wanted to participate in Art City Days each year and it seems that something comes up where I can't go to all of the events of it as I would have wanted to. This year we were able to go to all of the events that I wanted to go to. We first went to the carnival. Chris wanted something with barbecue and got a pork sandwich and I got a Navajo taco. We walked around to look at all of the rides... one of my favorites is the Ferris Wheel. Someday when Taylor is older we will have to go on that all together.
The following day we went to the balloon festival, which I was the most excited about going to, but the hot air balloons never took off so that was a little disappointing. Taylor loved looking at them as well as all of the people that were standing around.
Following that we went to the parade which was on main street. Because Chris and I don't love parades we were mostly going for Taylor. I think she liked all the sights and sounds from the bands and the floats.
