We will also be going to my parents house to have a barbecue. Brandon and my family will be going over to have the barbecue. My mom and dad won't be helping with the food preparations because they deserve a break. My mom had a full knee replacement on her left knee and has been trying to recover from it, but unfortunately for her it has been a slow recovery. We hope she can be walking without pain soon.

Memorial Day
So Memorial Day is a great day to celebrate all of the soldiers who have fought for this country and for keeping us safe. It was also a great day for the family to go swimming at the pool. It was Taylor's first time swimming in the pool. She really loved it. I think we will be spending a lot of our time in the pool this summer.

Taylor is 9 months
There are a few things that I would like to remember about my beautiful and sweet baby girl so far.
- She crawls everywhere, follows us around and pulls or touches our leg when she wants to picked up
- She has big smiles
- She has two bottom teeth and three coming in on her top gums
- She has a high pitched squeak when she does it " can break glass"
- when she is inpatient she grunts
- warms nicely to others
- likes attention from others
- puts two fingers in her mouth when she's self soothing
- pulls self to standing position in crib so therefore we lowered it
- she spits :)
- she likes to be held belly down, "super girl" position for her dad, and facing out or sitting for her mom
- she likes veggies but not fruit or meat
- lays in bed silent when in bed so we don't how long she has been asleep

Missouri Trip
After I graduated from school I was able to go with Chris and Taylor back to Missouri where 4 of his siblings and parents live. It was the first time that Taylor had ever gone on an airplane before. We even had a layover in Colorado. She did great on the flights because I would nurse her as we were taking off and then she would fall asleep in my arms. We had a relaxing and fun time on the trip. Some of the highlights were going to eat at his families homes, going to the Kansas City Zoo, and eating ice cream in the Amish town Jamesport.
Welcome
Welcome to our blog!
We will start at Easter and then go on from there.
It was a lot of fun to get Taylor her Easter basket. I filled it with the fake grass and candies that I knew she would not eat but Chris would. She enjoyed putting everything in her mouth as you can see. I am so excited that we could celebrate Easter with her.

Chris and I have found something that Taylor enjoys very much.. going on swings! She gets the biggest smile on her face when we push her back and forth.
Something else that happened that I thought would never happen was that I finally graduated from UVU's nursing program. I graduated from the Bachelors portion with honors: Magnum Cum Laude. This means that I had a GPA between 3.75 and 3.99. I was very excited to be done with school and focus on my family and projects at the home.
